Renting
What is BollyBooth?
BollyBooth allows you to rent carefully curated lehengas and asian wear for 4, 8, 16 or 30 day periods.
How does it work?
It’s simple, browse our rental collection, choose an item to rent for either 4, 8, 16 or 30 days, pick the delivery dates and book your rental. Send back your rental item using the pre-paid return label provided.
How long can I rent an item for?
We provide options of 4, 8, 16 or 30 days.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, you will be contacted to arrange a deposit that is 60% of the final price. The deposit can be paid up to a week before your order. Your order will not be processed until the deposit has been paid.
Will I get my deposit back?
The deposit is fully refundable, minus any deductions for unrecoverable damages and late fees.
Delivery and Returns
Where does BollyBooth deliver?
We currently deliver anywhere within the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, at this time, rentals cannot be facilitated outside of the United Kingdom.
When will my rental be delivered?
Your rental will be delivered on your chosen start date. If you need the item by a specific time, we advise selecting an earlier start date to avoid disappointment. Please note, BollyBooth cannot be held responsible for courier delays.
What happens if I’m not in to accept the delivery?
You will receive a tracking number when your rental is on its way to you. Please make sure you are in to receive the package, otherwise you may have to arrange a redelivery at your convenience. Please bear in mind that redelivery may not be available until the following day.
My rental hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
Have you checked the tracking information provided? If you still have no luck and your rental has not arrived by 4pm on the rental start date, please contact us at info@bollybooth.com.
What happens if I’ve lost my returns label?
Please contact us via email at info@bollybooth.com.
How do I return my outfit?
Rentals should be returned in the original reusable packaging using the pre-paid returns label and in accordance with the accompanying returns instructions. You are responsible for safely returning your rented item(s) no later than the final date of your rental period.
Place the rental in the reusable bag.
Attach the pre-paid label provided to the top of your package and seal securely.
Drop your package off at your local delivery office on the specified return date, making sure to keep proof of postage as this has your tracking number.
Is there a penalty fee for a late return?
It’s important that you return your rental within the rental period, as many outfits have back-to-back reservations. If, for any reason, it looks like you can’t make your scheduled return date, please contact us via email on info@bollybooth.com
BollyBooth reserves the right to charge a £25/day late fee for each day after the last day of your rental.
Cleaning
Do I need to clean my rental before returning it?
No. Renters can enjoy their item for the duration of the rental period without the hassle of dry-cleaning. This will be handled by our dry cleaning team.
Am I wearing clothes that other people have worn?
Yes, BollyBooth outfits are rented by others. However, each outfit undergoes a rigorous professional laundering process, including deep dry cleaning methods, to ensure it is impeccably clean and sanitised before reaching you.
Can I iron the rented items?
No. If you would like to remove the fold creases, please use a steamer and avoid putting direct heat on the lehenga.
Damage
What if I damage or lose my rental?
You are expected to treat rented items as if they are your own. We understand that accidents can happen, so please immediately let us know via info@bollybooth.com.
What if I notice that the stitching or embroidery is not intact?
Please inform us at info@bollybooth.com. You won't be penalised for wear and tear. Our in-house tailoring team will take care of the damage—all you need to do is let us know.
Fit
What if the item does not fit?
If you’re not happy with the fit, you can receive a refund for 100% of the rental fee. To qualify, inform BollyBooth within 24 hours of receiving the parcel, and ensure the safety ribbon is still intact.
Once we have acknowledged that the item does not fit, please post it back to us on the same day or the following day—what would be the second day of the rental. Use the provided reusable return packaging and label.
Once your item arrives back at BollyBooth, we will process a full refund minus the delivery charge.
